THE MORNING REIGN-10/1
I used to spend my entire day, dreaming of what my life would look like once I made more money, met the right person, found the perfect job, had the perfect car, or FINALLY moved out of Indiana, but life is funny.
Life actually KEPT me from moving.
I was met with one obstacle after another and just pushed and pushed until, for a moment, I would break. Then, once I was done letting myself fall apart, I would try again.
I just turned 40 this June and up until now, my life has felt like one big trial and error session.
The one constant, I COULD NEVER GIVE UP!
This year, however, has been completely different, thanks to one change I made. Instead of looking into the future as if someone else held my fate in their hands and would someday think that I'd had enough and grant me my wishes, I started making them myself.
Today, tomorrow and every day forward, I move with intent. I live as though I already have what I seek because even if I don't yet have physical possession of something I have yearned for, it's coming, and the sooner I am the version of myself that has it, the sooner it will manifest.
I'm not "rich" but I am living as though I am in a conscious way. My goals and dreams are to be in a home with my children and being the mom they need now, spending free time painting or showing others how to find their calling, to raise the veil and be another bringer of light onto this world that we have not taken care of and help rewrite what it means to be human, accepting our responsibility and caring for Earth rather than destroy it.
I no longer explain or justify what I am doing, I just accept that this is my calling and I move through my day with this in mind. If it means I take the afternoon to just be mom, then I do. If it means I selfishly take 2 hours to paint, then I do. If it means I choose to see friends or stay home, I just do.
If you know what you want in your life but can't seem to get it, then give yourself a moment to adjust your day to make time for just 1 action that helps bring it into your life. And if you have no idea what you want then, start trying out new hobbies and activities, inspiration finds you while you're in movement.
At the beginning of my journey, I said, "all i want to do is paint". And while this has grown so much farther than just this idea of painting every day, just finding the time each week to do something creative or art related keeps my soul alive and makes at least the smallest corner of my life the life I've wanted all along regardless if every aspect has caught up or not.
